God of War Ragnarök - Assets

I was given the amazing opportunity to work on a few assets for Vanaheim and Midgard. I created a lot of the foliage kit for Vanaheim Crater, Plains and Sinkholes (20+ levels). The trees themselves were an awesome opportunity to learn how to work with outsource, give feedback and integrate the work. I took the sculpts and did the rest to integrate them, especially the material work.
I was less involved with the architecture, I created a benchmark asset that outsource used as a quality bar reference, integrated the architecture pieces and gave them all a material pass. Tons of pieces not illustrated here, too much or not important to show. Working on the Tyr helmet was a big learning experience, as it's story importance has it appearing in the box art, in a cinematic and also in the open world. Because of this I had to rework a lot and there was a lot of back and fourth. But I'm very proud of the final result!

God of War Ragnarök and it's many levels is a giant team effort of hundreds of people, including the wonderful people at Santa Monica Studio, and most importantly my peers at Valkyrie Entertainment with whom I had the pleasure of collaborating with everyday during my time on the project. Special shoutout to John Palamarchuk the Director of External Development who was my main point of contact working with SMS, and Corbett Sachter who was my lead at Valkyrie guiding me the entire time :)
